A gripping new film based on a true story. The movie tells the heroic life of a world leader and a young man caught in the horrors of World War II. As the war escalates, Germany begins to question the loyalty of Hungary's leaders—especially Regent Horthy (played by Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley). The regent struggles to navigate the increasing terror from Nazi Germany and the oppression from communist Russia. He ultimately faces the decision of handing over power to another party or accepting the fate of executing his own son. As the crisis unfolds, thousands of Jewish citizens are forced to go underground or are confined to ghettos. One young man named Elek Cohen (played by Jonas Armstrong) gets separated from his family and is determined to find them. With the help of his lover (played by Hannah Thornton), Elek disguises himself as a Nazi SS officer and uncovers the truth behind Hitler's 'Final Solution.' In a race against time to save his family and thousands of his fellow citizens, he embarks on a suspenseful and dangerous journey.
