In 1944, as World War II was nearing its end, the desperate German Nazis became particularly ruthless, with many Allied soldiers being brutally killed after surrendering. American soldiers Dick (played by Corbin Allred), Steven (played by Alexander Polinsky), Shell (played by Larry Bagby), and Gordon (played by Peter Asle Holden) managed to escape the Nazi massacre. Dick, who had previously served as a priest in Germany and was fluent in German, along with his excellent marksmanship, made him a valuable asset among the four. However, at this point, Dick was suffering from war fatigue, often haunted by shadows that blurred the lines between enemy figures and the call of death. While temporarily sheltered in a cabin, the four happened to overhear vital German intelligence and rushed to save a British pilot, Wenley, before the Germans could intervene. Wenley carried the crucial mission of relaying German troop positioning information, and in order to ensure the intelligence was communicated to save the lives of Allied soldiers, the four of them set out on a journey to cross the German blockade with Wenley...
