One day, a group of ruthless robbers attacked the laboratory, and Quentin's best friend tragically lost his life in the crossfire, leaving Quentin devastated. He vowed to take revenge for his friend and devised a dangerous plan. The laboratory was researching a drug extracted from spider blood, and Quentin stole this drug, injecting it into his own bloodstream. Horribly, instead of turning into a strong Spider-Man, Quentin gradually transformed into a furry giant spider.
