The three of them start tracking an ad that seeks a companion across time and space. After identifying the ad's poster, Kenneth (Mark Duplass), Jeff pretends to apply for the job but is recognized, so he sends Darlis in instead. Darlis successfully earns Kenneth’s trust, and Jeff hands over the entire investigation to her while focusing on dating.
