Cheung Tak-ju (played by Cheng Kwai-on) is a Hong Kong Royal Police officer, and his wife (played by Wang Xiaofeng) is pregnant and about to give birth, making them a very close couple. That night, a black cat jumps onto Cheung's body just as a thunderbolt strikes, and he miraculously awakens, turning into a fully-fledged zombie. After his resurrection, he possesses immense strength but fears sunlight and needs to recharge periodically. Knowing his time is limited, Cheung decides to keep this secret from his wife and vows to bring the bank robbers to justice. Meanwhile, during the chaos, one of the robbers kidnapped a girl named Gucci (played by Ye Yunyin) as a hostage, and in the confusion, Gucci escapes with a suitcase full of money. The furious robbers search for Gucci, and when they learn that Cheung is still alive, a battle between good and evil becomes inevitable...
