The story tells of a popular composer, Hee-soo (played by Kim Sun-young), who enjoys a lavish life but is ruthlessly abandoned after a passionate encounter with her ex-boyfriend, leading her to adopt a somewhat carefree attitude. One day, Hee-soo is caught having an affair with a male colleague in an elevator by the main character, Shun-eun (played by Byun Joon-seok), a simple 19-year-old boy. A few days later, Hee-soo discovers that Shun-eun lives in the same apartment complex and building as her, and they awkwardly run into each other again in the elevator. Meanwhile, Shun-eun is unable to forget about Hee-soo after witnessing the steamy scene. In a chance encounter, Shun-eun manages to get Hee-soo's phone number and calls her, but panics and hangs up when the call connects.
