A black hole codenamed 'Little Waterfall' is approaching the solar system at a rapid speed, threatening to annihilate the blue planet on which humanity relies for survival. In a bid for survival, humanity begins an enormous immigration plan, using transport ships to migrate in batches to the Amar system in the Selam galaxy. However, during this process, the transport ships are perceived as invaders by the Interstellar National Alliance's alien life forms and are subsequently met with devastating attacks. Ancient Jin's wife, Ashue, also went missing during the most recent escort operation. With less than a month until Earth's destruction, Ancient Jin is urgently appointed as the commander of the third immigration fleet, and a new Yamato is resurrected for this immigration mission... This film is adapted from the original work of the same name by Leiji Matsumoto.
