The story takes place in a secluded village - Waichang Village. For many years, the village has maintained the most ancient burial method - burial in the ground. This has provided a unique and favorable environment for the emergence of a creature called "Shikigami". Shikigami, a type of zombie, are strong but fear sunlight, living by sucking human blood, and expanding their power by turning ordinary humans into Shikigami. Their sole goal is to completely occupy Waichang Village. Mysterious events are happening secretly throughout the village, and no one connects them together. When terror erupts, it is already too late. Yuuki Natsuno (voiced by Ueshima Kouhei) is the first to discover the existence of Shikigami, and after being attacked by them, he transforms into a sub-type of Shikigami known as "Werewolf". The werewolf, aside from having superior physical abilities compared to ordinary people, is no different from humans, making it the only being capable of contending with Shikigami. In this small village, surrounded by fear and blood, a brutal war is about to erupt between the leader of Shikigami, Kirishiki Saki (voiced by Yuuki Aoi), and the leader of werewolves, Yuuki Natsuno, amidst simple villagers and bloodthirsty demons.
