Cheng Sheng (played by Stephen Chow) is a lazy thug who spends his days deceiving and swindling, committing all sorts of wrongdoings. One day, while pretending to be blind to scam others, he encounters a female con artist (played by Miu Kiu-wai) being bullied by a debt collector named 'Spare Rib' (played by Yuen Wah). Unable to stand idly by, Sheng steps in to save her, only to find himself in a heap of debt after the debt is transferred to him. Meanwhile, experienced hustler Ling Wan-feng (played by Wu Ma) also owes a debt to a wealthy kingpin (played by Cheung Yiu-yung) and cannot repay it. He finds a way to reunite with his former love, Ping Jie (played by Lian Niu), and a prostitute named Apple (played by Yip Chiu-mei) to con a wealthy family. Unbeknownst to them, the wealthy heir they intend to swindle is actually Sheng, who has plans to con the wealthy family himself. The chaotic intertwining of their cons leads to endless comedic situations.
