Intro： New Pearl PrincessDuring the reign of Emperor Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty, the beautiful and dignified girl Xia Ziwei (played by Hai Lu) and her maid Jin Suo (played by Sun Yaoqi) come to the capital from Jinan's Daming Lake. They are beaten for blocking the sedan chair of Lord Liang from the Imperial Clan Court in the street. Xiao Yanzi (played by Li Cheng), who is performing in the market, and the Liu siblings come to their aid, leading to friendship between Ziwei and Xiao Yanzi. After that, Ziwei and her maid partner with Xiao Yanzi to perform, experiencing countless adventures along the way, and they also meet a foreigner named Benjamin (played by Pan Jieming).
