Christian also likes Roxane, so Cyrano channels his love for Roxane into writing letters to her in Christian's name and cleverly arranges their marriage. However, an officer who has long harbored impure intentions toward Roxane, seeing this situation, can hardly contain his anger and transfers Christian to fight in Arras...
