The Jetsons have made their film debut in a movie about family, friends, and all that jazz. George's frugal boss, Mr. Spacely, is determined to get his remote factory on his ore asteroid, miles away, to produce 1,000,000 sprockets, but all the vice-presidents sent to manage it have mysteriously vanished. Therefore, Mr. Spacely has to find someone else to take charge, and it needs to be someone incredibly brave and incredibly foolish. So who does he choose? George Jetson. George prepares to take his family along: Jane, his sensible and caring wife; Judy, his rebellious teenage daughter who has a new boyfriend, a galactic rock star; Elroy, the basketball champion who is starting to lose faith in his father; and Rosie, their sassy maid. While Judy meets another boy and enjoys a gigantic shopping mall, George heads off to work with his new buddy, a robot foreman named Rudy 2. The factory is quickly sabotaged on the opening day, prompting George to investigate, and he disappears. Now it’s up to Elroy and his new friends to rescue George. Joining them on the adventure are Judy and Jane. It’s a wild futuristic escapade on a screen larger than your television.
