intro：Booth (Mai Charoenpura) runs a rice noodle stall, and her husband eloped with a young and beautiful working girl, leaving Booth with a large debt in addition to his young and seriously ill daughter Bull. Booth had no money to take her daughter to the doctor, so she was able to buy some of the most basic medicines to keep her alive, but even then, she spent almost all of her savings. With a poor financial situation, Booth can no longer buy meat to keep the rice noodle stall running.
On this day, Booth pushed his stall home, and on the way he came across the scene of the government's armed suppression of the demonstration, and a wounded student secretly hid in Booth's stall, and by the time Booth found him, he had been dead for a long time. Booth had an idea and decided to use the student's meat as an ingredient in rice noodles, but because of the delicious taste, it caused diners to rush him, and Booth found a business opportunity.
